Our service is confidential. The only circumstances where confidentiality is breached is where there is a direct risk to yourself or others. We follow General Medical Council and Nursing and Midwifery Council guidance on this issue.

We are obliged by the terms of our registration with Healthcare Improvement Scotland to seek consent to contact your GP, particularly where prescribing is involved. We cannot prescribe any controlled medication without obtaining medical information from your GP and informing them about any prescription.
